You Color my World Starry Anya

Hello Farm Friends! Today is my day to share on the Greeting Farm blog and I have a project featuring the brand new clear stamp- Starry Anya.  Isn't she a cutie?!! My inspiration for this card began with her name, Starry. The idea was to create a muted card with lots of stars in outer space and have a cheesy saying to go along with it but it didn't take and thus a more colorful approach came about after re-booting my system.

Now its your turn to create your colorful project with this cutie, if you snatched her up during pre-sale, or any of the other images The Greeting Farm shop has to offer.  Thanks for stopping by!

Tip Me Tuesday with Prismacolor Pencils, part2

Hi friends! I'm back on the tgf blog with another Tip me Tuesday Post where the farmers show you their favorite copic color combos. I'm doing it with a little twist as I am a Prismacolor Pencil girl so you'll get to see how I work. Today I bring you Rock On Green. I listed the colors in the order that I used them so you can give it a try. I laid down my colors twice and I did not use any mineral spirits/gamsol.  ** As a side note: because you're building layers, try to keep your hand light, meaning don't press too hard. This will allow you to build up layers without much wax. I did go over the darker areas several times**

I used one of the creepers from the 2nd Creeper Kit that was released in 2013ish. Unfortunately, I realized after I used him, that this set is no longer available. However there are other creepers found in the tgf shop that are similar, such as CC Sunday, CC Saturday or CC James.  Honestly, I think any of the creepers are perfect for crazy hair colors. Ok, that is all for today and I hope you found some inspiration here. Please let me know if you're interested in seeing any other color combos.

A Merbean Tote

Hello Farm Friends! Today is my day to share on the Greeting Farm blog and I have  a mermaid theme project for you.  I was in need of a new library/book bag, as my previous had torn, so I took myself to the store to find a canvas tote. Now at first, it worked out fine but I soon realized that it was much too drab and boring for my books - plus it was getting lost among all my market bags- so I came up with this. I blew up Leela Merbean in a word document and printed her out, several times. I then cut out the image in several stages and used them as templates to get the image and paint on the tote. Now, to make it a little easier for myself, I ignored her crown and didn't add it to the tote.  I created a bit of scenery and gave her a pink ocean to swim in. To finish the tote, I wrote in one of Melville's quote that is inspiring and on point with the ocean life.
Her merpal, Coralina Merbean was used for the "if lost, please return to" tag seen on the upper right side. She was printed on heavy watercolor 140lb paper to make sure that the tag will uphold to the wear and tear that is to follow.  I hope that my project inspires you to use your images in fun and funky ways.
Thanks for stopping by!

Teddy, I Love You

Hello friends! I'm back with another project for Quick Creations that features a super cutesy Greeting Farm stamp set. The set was was created as a party theme set (as it has balloons and birthday hats) but I didn't let that stop me. I stamped out these mama and papa bears, colored them, paper pieced some clothes for them and voila - and I love you card. The sentiment was altered tho, originally it has a "WE" instead of "I" so I just cleaned the "W" before stamping it and drew in the "I" Plus this set isn't all party, it's perfect for kid projects as well, as it brings a young boy bear and a young girl bear and it has awesome sentiments and extras (hearts, stars, balloons, etc)
